Progress October 27

Glad for this beautiful autumn day

Working into the monochromatic underlayer

A little more refining and then I will add color

Progress October 17

I started a new picture today

This one is familiar

I did a drawing of this a few weeks ago

I  paint in this traditionally in layers of glazed color

First though is the value layer

Progress October 15

I changed my mind

I decided to work into a large picture I started a few months ago

I am trying to work on larger canvases

This one is three feet by four feet

Value study first the i will glaze in color

Progress October 14

I am going to start a new picture tomorrow

Progress September 30

Not feeling it today

Not sure why

This one is for a friend

Progress September 29

Working on this one today

Progress September 26

Still fussing with this picture

I thought it would have been completed months ago

I guess I needed to step away from it for a few weeks

Anyway here it is

I am finally feeling like it is coming together
